Hi and welcome to Mike Travis' page on the
Jeremiah Project web site!
When was the toughest time for you growing up? Many of us answer, “those
Middle School years.” I have always felt that one of the most important things
we can do is to develop our youth and provide them the support and encouragement
they need to be all they were meant to be in the world. The Jeremiah
Project does that in some pretty amazing ways.
Thanks for considering making a donation as part of my effort to raise money
for a non-profit I very much believe in. I am hoping to personally raise
$3,000 to support the work that this organization does. I and the Jeremiah
project will appreciate any contribution you can make.

Middle School age is a critical time for our youth. It’s a time when
many feel lost as they search for meaning and direction. Sometimes that search
can lead them to some pretty dark places. I’ve become a board member of the
Jeremiah Project, a faith based organization that focuses on the providing them
solid Christian values at a time in their lives when they need that kind of
anchor most.
Their journey begins through the mission work (repairing homes of the
poor) that teaches them important lessons about selflessness and teamwork.
Evenings are devoted to contemporary Christian music and stimulating and
interactive messages. The one week experience culminates with most gaining
a life transforming renewed walk in their Christian faith. This
organization has found a way to communicate to that tough age in a way that has
meaning and value. In short, the Jeremiah project transforms many lives (the
youth, parents, youth pastors and those for whom the mission work is done).
