Hi Friends,
As many of you know, I work with youth in schools on a daily basis. I also serve
on a few boards that work with youth. I want to tell you about one of the
boards, JP (Jeremiah Project). JP is a Junior High mission program that does
short term (1 week) projects for those less fortunate. Kurtis and I had the
opportunity to work at one of these projects last summer. It was great to see
young people empowered by their own ability to help and do things for others
with out expecting a monetary gift. In fact, the students must pay their own
expenses for the week. However, we do have project costs that the student’s fees
do not cover. Please take the time to visit our site at
www.jeremiahproject.org
to learn more.
P.S. Most of you know that I am not much of a salesman but this is truly
something that I feel kids today miss out on (doing things for others is a great
blessing and can feel better than receiving).
Thanks for your time.
