What is JP?

JP is a home-repair ministry that is unique in that the participants are middle school students. Students are placed into work teams for the week and perform various home repairs for the elderly, low income, and those living with physical and mental disabilities.  We desire to make homes warmer, safer, drier, and more accessible for God's people.

JP is all about middle school students!
Do you remember when you were in middle school? It was the best, most frightening, scariest, incredibly awesome, unpredictable, sad-and-happy-at-the-same-time years! JP knows that middle school students are at a crucial point in their lives. They want to be treated like adults, but also want mom and dad close by. They want to do things but are often told that they're too young. They are beginning to ask the questions, "Who am I?" and "Do I really matter?" "Does God have a plan for my life?" Does any of this ring true from your middle school years?

This is such an important time in the life of a middle school student. God may be calling you to serve for a week next summer to be used by Him to change the lives of students and those we serve in the community.

Our Mission Statement:
The Jeremiah Project is called to SERVE God's people, to EMPOWER middle school students to be servant leaders, to AFFIRM them as children of God, to ENCOURAGE them to embrace a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to SUPPORT them in their desire to become Christian disciples.

Camp Locations:
JP operates two work camps each summer in Winchester, VA and Romney, WV (about an hour from Winchester).
